Boy George was greeted by his classic hit Karma Chameleon as he walked into a five-star hotel after exiting I'm A Celeb. The singer, 61, became the fourth campmate to be voted out of the ITV show on Tuesday.
And he was met at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa on Australia's Gold Coast by a rendition of his Culture Club classic. Well-wishers sang to George as he stepped inside the plush Surfers Paradise hotel. The 80s icon then made his way around the room and finished with a hug for Matt Hancock's girlfriend Gina Coladangelo, 45.
A hotel guest said: "Everyone was waiting in the lobby as he arrived. They were all chatting and milling about before being told to form up. It was a good atmosphere."
George and ex-health secretary Hancock, 44, did not appear to get on during their days in the jungle. But the onlooker said there "didn't appear to be any tension" between the popstar and Coladangelo.
They also hailed Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver as "lovely". The actress, 59, was the third campmate to be evicted.
The guest, who asked not to be named, said: "She chatted with a few of the fans that were there. She was lovely and let us take some photos."
