Crowds cheer as adorable girl forgets to stop at Highland Games race finish line

Dawn Highland Games King Charles III

An adorable video has shown the moment the crowds at a Highland Games cheered on a little girl after she ran past the finish line at a children's race - to complete a full lap of the track.

Proud mum Dawn, 47, says everyone is now calling six-year-old Edie Campbell-Goddard 'Speedy Edie' after she took part in the 10m sprint at the Highland Games in Oban.

The hilarious clip shows the moment Edie, who was in the lead, crossed the finish line and decided to keep going - ending running 400m round the entire track.
