Scousers braved the rain to watch another memorable Jamie Webster performance with a very special guest.
The second day of On The Waterfront may not have been as picturesque as the first weather-wise, but the festival-goers did not care one bit. They were here to have a great evening enjoying live music with their friends and family - and nothing was going to stop them.
Protected with cagoules, umbrellas and bucket hats, they saw another fantastic night of entertainment. Jamie Webster wowed once again, a performance that was very similar to Thursday night but no less impactful.

He ran through his best hits, from the fast paced Going Out to the slower Grinding The Gears. He fired up the crowd with his criticism of the justice system prior to Davey Kane and moved them with Something In The Air, a love song dedicated to his fiancee.
But the moment that will stick out most was a surprise appearance from James Skelly, the frontman of Hoylake band The Coral. Though already due to appear on Sunday, James was more than happy to appear with Jamie in delivering an unbelievable rendition of Dreaming of You.
It was made all the more special by the presence of his brother Ian on stage - Ian has worked with Jamie for some time now. It reminded me how lucky we are on Merseyside to be blessed with an incredible amount of talented musicians who are willing to help each other out.
We also saw glimpses of the future of music in the area earlier in the day. Liverpool-born rock/soul songwriter Fiona Lennon showcased her moving ballads. The Sway, an indie rock band formed by a group of mates in Anfield, clearly have a bright future ahead.
A politically-charged set from Seb Lowe, as well as Michael Head and The Red Elastic Band returning, rounded off another great day at the festival. On The Waterfront is doing a terrific job so far of showcasing Liverpool’s musical heritage, and the bright future that lies ahead.
