Crowd marks end of Welsh festival with spontaneous rendition of the national anthem

Brilliant footage has captured crowds bringing Tafwyl to a close with the national anthem. The festival, which celebrates art and culture in Wales, took place over the weekend with many festival goers flocking to Cardiff Castle on Saturday, June 18, and Sunday, June 19.

The video, which was shared on Facebook and Twitter, shows thousands of people marking the end of the Cardiff festival with a beautiful rendition of Mae Hen Wlad fy Nhadau. A caption in Welsh which was included with the video on a social media post wrote: "Good night Tafwyl 2022 - thank you".
