BSF detects 150-metre tunnel near the border in Jammu

The Border Security Force (BSF) detected a 150-metre-long tunnel in Jammu’s Samba along the Pakistan border and found a 265-feet long pipe near the tunnel that were used to supply oxygen, it said in a statement on Thursday.

The border guarding force said that with the tunnel’s detection it has “foiled the nefarious designs of Pakistan-based terrorists to disrupt the upcoming Amarnath Yatra.”

BSF said that it detected a cross-border tunnel on May 4 in the area of Border Outpost Chak Faquira in Samba area.
