HYDERABAD: Panic prevailed in Chintal basti near Hyderabad's Khairtabad after a medium sized crocodile surfaced on the road adjacent to an open Nala.
The crocodile was spotted on the road at 6.30pm, after water levels rose in the open drains due to a sudden spell of heavy rains. The crocodile was perched on the road which also has a Ganesh pandal set up. However when public spotted it, the crocodile lept back into the Nala and got stuck in a narrow passage between the walls of the Nala and metal rods.
