Belgium must finally turn up and deliver this afternoon when they face Croatia or their World Cup will be over.
A very fortuitous win over Canada was followed by defeat to Morocco and Roberto Martinez’s side are now on the brink of being knocked out of the tournament at the group stage, with a number of reports suggesting it is far from a happy camp.
Victory over Croatia though and they will be through to the last-16, with a draw only enough if Morocco suffer a heavy defeat to Canada which appears unlikely.
The situation is far more positive for Croatia, who sit top of Group H heading into the final round of matches. A draw will be enough for them to go through, though they’ll be keen to seal top spot avoid a likely last-16 clash against Spain.
