'Critical gap': why dementia screening is coming to a pharmacy near you

Chris Piggott has witnessed the effects of dementia, so he didn't hesitate to help design a new screening program to be piloted in the Hunter.

"We've got 15 friends with dementia, half of them are severe," said Mr Piggott, 81, adding the disease was "really hard" on the patients' partners.
