Cristiano Ronaldo has officially been removed from Manchester United's squad on FIFA 23 following his exit from the club last month.
After an explosive interview with Piers Morgan in which Ronaldo spoke poorly of the United hierarchy, the 37-year-old's contract with United was terminated early, with the player and the club coming to a mutual agreement to end his second spell at Old Trafford. Ronaldo returned to United in the summer of 2021 and scored 24 goals in the 2021/22 season, but the striker struggled for game time after the arrival of Erik ten Hag.
Used more off the bench, Ronaldo made his feelings very clear, especially when the striker walked down the tunnel early after refusing to come on as a substitute against Tottenham Hotspur in October. It was a disappointing way for a club legend to end his United career, and he now finds himself without a club as the January transfer window approaches.
