Cristiano Ronaldo and his team, Al Nassr, faced a disappointing defeat in the Saudi Super Cup against Al Hilal. Despite Ronaldo scoring the opening goal just before half-time, Al Nassr ultimately lost 4-1 to Al Hilal in the season's curtain-raiser.
Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d'Or winner, showcased his scoring prowess by finding the back of the net in the 44th minute after a setup by Abdulrahman Ghareeb. However, Al Hilal dominated the second half, with Serbian duo Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Aleksandar Mitrovic playing pivotal roles in their victory.
