An Everton fan's mum has been left angered by Cristiano Ronaldo's apology after an incident involving her 14-year-old son following Manchester United's defeat on Merseyside.
As Ronaldo was walking off the pitch at Goodison Park he allegedly knocked a mobile phone out of the hands of a watching fan. The 37-year-old later took to Instagram to apologise for what he called an 'outburst'.
He said: "It’s never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing. Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient and set the example for all the youngsters who love the beautiful game.
