Manchester United fans have heaped praise onto Cristiano Ronaldo after he joined the Premier League's esteemed '100 goals club' against Arsenal.
Off the back of their humiliating defeat to Liverpool in the week, United journeyed south for another important fixture against a great rival on Saturday as they faced Arsenal in a match that will have huge ramifications in the race for a Champions League place. Ralf Rangnick's side could move level on points with the Gunners - and, for the time being, Tottenham - with a win but will fall six points behind fourth place if they lose with just four games left.
Despite the sky high stakes, United once again started dismally and were behind after just two minutes as some dreadful defending led to Nuno Tavares tapping home. They were soon two goals behind when Bukayo Saka dispatched a penalty as United stared down the barrel of another battering.
