Cristiano Ronaldo's fans were quick to troll Sergio Aguero as Alejandro Garnacho praised the Manchester United star once again.
Garnacho was able to see the five-time Ballon d’Or winner in action up close after being named on the bench against Brentford on Monday night. The young Argentine was treated to another masterclass from Ronaldo as he took his goal tally up to 24 for the season.
Garnacho has already shown his love for the Portuguese ace this season and he took the chance to celebrate with Ronaldo at Old Trafford as United won their final home game of the season. Afterwards, Garnacho shared a picture of himself looking on in awe of his teammate, along with the caption: “Siiiiiuuuuuu @cristiano” accompanied by a goat emoji.

Plenty of teammates, including Anthony Elanga, jumped on the post as they shared their love for Ronaldo. And supporters were soon getting involved, including some poking fun at Manchester City legend Aguero.
Just last month, the former striker trolled Garnacho when the United academy star labelled Ronaldo 'The greatest of all times...'. Aguero replied to his fellow countryman’s post, saying: “Because you still didn’t play with the best pa @leomessi.”
The comment was clearly meant to be light-hearted, although such is the rivalry between Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the Portugal international’s fans were never going to let it slide. And they didn’t miss the chance to poke some fun back at Aguero on this occasion.
A number of fans called out Aguero in response to Garnacho’s latest post, with supporters commenting such things as 'incoming salty Aguero with his salty comments' and 'Aguero incoming'. Others jumped on with 'Aguero typing' and 'hope Aguero sees this'.
Having played alongside Messi for years with Argentina, it’s unlikely Aguero will back down from his opinion on the Ronaldo vs Messi debate. Should Ronaldo stay at United next season, Aguero can probably expect more trolling from United fans.
