Cristiano Ronaldo's first season with Al Nassr ended in heartbreak, as the club missed out on winning the Saudi Pro League.
A 1-1 draw against Al Ettifaq means Ronaldo and Co can no longer catch Al Ittihad. The latter sealed the title with a 3-0 away win against Al Feiha. Al-Nassr end their campaign against Al Fateh and Ronaldo will finish his debut campaign at the club without a trophy.
The gap to top is now five points for Al Nassr, who could have taken the battle to the final day of the season had they won over the weekend. Ronaldo played 84 minutes of the draw, with Luiz Gustavo levelling for Al Nassr 11 minutes into the second half after Youssoufou Niakate had opened the scoring just before the break.

Al Nassr were top of the league at the time of Ronaldo's arrival, but were left to rue draws in the second half of the season as well as a late defeat to Al Ittihad in March. In total, Ronaldo has netted 14 goals in his 16 league outings for Al Nassr - making him the fifth highest scorer in the division.
