Cristiano Ronaldo continues to heap praise on Roy Keane as part of explosive Piers Morgan interview

Cristiano Ronaldo continued to heap praise on Roy Keane as part of his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo has made headlines since sitting down with Morgan after he was critical of Manchester United.

And although the former Real Madrid forward took aim at Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney, he was full of praise for Roy Keane.

Ronaldo had said that Roy Keane was the 'best captain' he played for and continued the praise as he listed Keane as one of the best players he tried to replicate when he was first at Manchester United.

The five time Ballon D'or winner was critical of Manchester United youngsters and their attitude towards older players and praised Keane in the process.

"I remember when I was 18, 19, 20 I always looked to see the best players, Van Nistelrooy, Ferdinand, Roy Keane, Giggs.

"This is why I had the success that I did and the longevity because I took care of my body, my mentality because I see these guys and I learn from them"

"He added when asked about Keane and Rio Ferdinand: "I was in the dressing room with them and as I mentioned before he was my best captain ever.

"Not just because they speak good about me but they were there in the dressing room and are football players and know how players think and behave."
