Cristiano Ronaldo has been accused of showing “disrespect” to his Manchester United teammates by leaving before the final whistle of his side's win over Tottenham.
Goals from Fred and Bruno Fernandes secured a deserved win for a dominant United side on Wednesday night, as Ronaldo was an unused substitute for the side’s best performance of the season. In his absence, his teammates produced a superb display of attacking verve and intensity.
In his place, Marcus Rashford started up-front, with the Red Devils going on to put in their best performance since Erik ten Hag took charge. Despite their win, one man seemed less than pleased though, with Ronaldo filmed walking off down the tunnel around the 88th minute.
