Cristiano Ronaldo accused of 'contempt' as Man United and Real Madrid legend tears into teammates after cup exit

One of Cristiano Ronaldo's opponents in Saudi Arabia has accused him of treating him with "contempt" after Al-Nassr crashed out of the Saudi Cup.

And the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend was also seen letting rip at his teammates in the wake of their second successive domestic defeat. Ronaldo scored 11 goals in his first 10 games after his move to Saudi Arabia but he's now failed to score in his last three. It's a drought by his standards and his time in the Middle East hit a low point when Al-Wehda locked him out and sent his side crashing from the cup.

French striker Jean-David Beauguel scored the winning goal in that cup tie and he approached Ronaldo after the game for a handshake. But he was left shocked by Ronaldo's reaction - claiming he was treated with "contempt." He also said Ronaldo was "annoyed and yelling" at his teammates after tasting defeat for the third time since moving to Saudi Arabia.

“I was a little disappointed," he said: "At the end of the game, I told him that I was a big fan and asked for his jersey. He shook my hand without really looking at me, with a very contemptuous air. He’s annoyed, yelling at his teammates.”
