Gloucestershire Cricket has announced its first open-air concert in four years. The cricket ground in Bishopston has not hosted a concert since the pandemic, with Tom Jones being the last artist to perform back in 2019.
Ministry of Sound Classical has been confirmed as the first booking for this July at the Seat Unique Stadium - the new name announced for the former Bristol County Ground last year. The orchestra tour performs some of the most recognisable dance anthems as you've never seen them before, with a 30-piece orchestra reimagining classic tracks from the genre to offer a unique live music experience.
The set is performed by some of the most talented players in classical music and a score of amazing vocalists all alongside DJs Seb Fontaine, Judge Jules and DJ Fergie on the decks. 'Hey Boy Hey Girl' (The Chemical Brothers), 'Sunchyme' (Dario G), 'Insomnia' (Faithless) and 'Right Here, Right Now' (Fat Boy Slim) are among some of the tracks you'll expect to hear, reinterpreted for a 2020s crowd.
