Dame Cressida Dick has only “days and weeks” to save her job by restoring trust in the Met and rooting out racist and sexist officers, London Mayor Sadiq Khan has warned.

In a brutal ultimatum to the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Mr Khan said he was ready to “take action” against her unless she can convince Londoners that she can overhaul the Met’s culture after a succession of scandals.
