Creeslough Applegreen explosion: More details about those killed emerge as families and friends pay tribute

The names of some of the 10 people killed in the tragic petrol station explosion in Ireland have begun to emerge, as families and friends paid tribute to the loved ones they have lost. It comes as the Irish premier also paid tribute to those who died in the tragedy.

A talented teenage rugby player, a young woman who lived in a flat above the petrol station, a shop worker, and mother and son have all been named locally as among those who died in Friday’s blast in Creeslough, Co Donegal.

Jessica Gallagher, a former design student, and her boyfriend reportedly lived in a flat above the petrol station. She died in yesterday's blast, which also injured her boyfriend, who is understood to be in hospital, reports the Irish Mirror.
