Creepy prediction of what Princess Charlotte would look like was very, very wrong

There's arguably nothing that excites Brits more than a royal baby - except, perhaps, a royal wedding.

So, when the Palace announced the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were expecting their second child in 2015, people couldn't wait to find out more.

During Kate's pregnancy, in which she suffered from severe sickness, there was huge speculation over the gender of the second senior royal baby - and what the child would be called.

Many royal fans were also curious to know what the royal baby might look like, with some even going as far as using prediction websites to get an idea of how Princess Charlotte would look and the results were... a little creepy.

The prediction was way off (makemebabies.com)

The prediction site allows users to upload photos of both the mum and dad, which it uses to create a bizarre mash-up of how the child may look.

Someone did exactly that, by using photos of Kate and Prince William to guess how Charlotte would look, and on reflection, the predictions were very, very wrong.

In just two months, young Charlotte will celebrate her seventh birthday but she's already become a firm favourite among royal fans.

Born on May 2, 2015, Charlotte made history when her brother Prince Louis was born as she became the first woman in history to keep her place in the line of succession despite having a younger male sibling.

She might only be six, but the Princess is often described as the most outspoken and determined of all of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children, with Kate previously joking she was the boss of their household.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl previously told the Mirror: "Charlotte is the most buoyant and outgoing of the three Cambridge children.

"It’s that strength of character that will stand her in good stead when she’s older."
