With the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence in our daily lives, one often wonders how it would impact our work. Especially for writers and authors, with the rise of ChatGPT, Bard AI, etc. Can AI replace writers and their creativity? How can it affect the publishing world? Discussing this at the House of Harmony's Spring Fest were Vinita Dawra Nangia- Executive Editor with The Times of India and Director- Write India, Times Litfests and AutHer Awards; Ajay Jain- Founder of Kunzum Cafe; Shantanu Ray Chaudhuri- Editor-In-Chief at Om Books International in conversation with Dipankar Mukherjee, Publisher at Readomania.
"What is creativity?," Dipankar started the discussion with this question. To this Vinita replied, "All of us have a bit of creativity in us, whether you write, sing, paint, or you are an HR person. And this is a huge shift we have seen over the years. Earlier only a few people were considered creative, but today that definition of creativity is very holistic and it covers everyone and everything. You can be creative in the way you sing, paint or even in the way you converse with people. Creativity is how we interpret the world using our experiences and knowledge to come out with new ideas to make a difference in the world."
