An accident on a busy road in Renfrewshire led to delays for motorists earlier today.
The one-car crash happened around 3pm on the A737 when the vehicle is said to have been involved in a collision near Johnstone.
Police and the trunk road incident support service (TRISS) headed to the scene to help clear the vehicle from the road, which was restricting traffic travelling southbound.
Fortunately, there was no need for the driver of the vehicle to be taken to hospital.
The vehicle was subsequently removed from the road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3pm on Tuesday, December 6, police were called to a road crash involving one car on the A737 near to Kilbarchan and Johnstone. Officers attended to assist and the vehicle was recovered.”
