Craig Halkett sparked hilarity when he hijacked a Hearts fan Q&A with Cammy Devlin and Alex Cochrane. And the Australian midfielder well and truly took the bait when Halkett labelled his co-host "boring."
The duo fielded questions from fans on Instagram while away in Spain for a warm-weather training camp. Devlin linked up with Cochrane, whose permanent signing was announced yesterday following a successful loan spell from Brighton.
The duo entertained the Hearts faithful who asked everything from who is the best dressed (Stephen Kingsley) to who is the most handsome ( Craig Gordon or Halkett - depending on who you ask). And hilarity ensued when Halkett himself piped up in the comment section and asked Cochrane why he was so "boring."
It was Devlin who reacted though as he bit back: "Halks, come and join us then, son. We're not trying to bore you, mate."
Devlin and Cochrane are both out to impress Robbie Neilson and earn a spot in the starting XI as their European preparations step up a gear. They return to Scotland on Friday with their first pre-season friendly against East Fife coming on Tuesday, July 5.
The Jambos' Premiership season kicks off in Dingwall on July 30 and they'll find out on August 2 who they will face in Europa League qualifying. The first leg then takes place on Thursday August 18 with the second a week later on August 25.
