Travelling by plane can be a stressful experience, and it can be made even worse if you have to spend what feels like an eternity waiting at the baggage carousel for your suitcase to appear.
Whether you want to get out of the airport quickly to start enjoying your holiday or you're eager to get back home after a long flight, delays in getting your luggage can make you want to tear your hair out.
But what if we told you there is actually a crafty hack that you can use to make sure you get your bags back quickly? All you need to do is ask for one specific sticker for your luggage when you check it in before your flight.
According to news.com.au, asking for a "fragile" sticker for your luggage could speed up your wait time when it comes to the baggage carousel, as the sticker will affect the order in which your bags are packed onto the plane.
Baggage tagged as being fragile will go into the plane last, which means it comes out the other side first, which equals less time to wait at the dreaded carousel.
You may genuinely have some fragile things in your case, but you never even knew you could ask for a fragile sticker! Well, now you do.
And if you don't want to take your chances with fragile stickers, there's something else you can do too - make sure you're one of the last people to check their luggage in for the flight.
This works on the same principle as the fragile stickers, as having your bags packed onto the plane last means they'll be at the front of the queue when it comes to unloading them at your destination.
Thomas Lo Sciuto, a ramp worker and gate agent at a regional airport in the US, told Quora: "Bags will always be loaded front to back on the bag carts so if you check in last your bags will be in the last bag cart."
Meanwhile, a flight attendant recently claimed you should never wear shorts on a plane, as they can potentially pose a sanitary risk without you even realising it.
Tommy Cimato said in a viral video: "Don't or try not to wear shorts when on an aeroplane. You never know how clean it's going to be, so if you're wearing trousers you're going to have fewer germs."
