The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has launched a High Court challenge to overturn the dismissal of a terrorism case against rapper Liam Og O hAnnaidh, known by his stage name Mo Chara.
The musician had been accused of displaying a flag in support of the proscribed terror organisation Hezbollah during a performance at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town, north London, on November 21 2024. However, the case was initially thrown out in September last year by chief magistrate Paul Goldspring, who ruled that the proceedings had been "instituted unlawfully".
