A new covid study has suggested people who are reluctant or refuse to get vaccinated could have suffered from a traumatic childhood experience.
The research also uncovered that people who came through neglect, domestic violence or alcoholism, were less likely to trust information from the NHS and the government, such as wearing a mask.
The new study, published in the the open access journal British Medical Journal (BMJ) Open, involved surveying 2,285 people aged 18 and over during lockdown restrictions (December 2020 to March 2021).
