Covid update from Public Health Scotland as 7,162 new cases and 16 deaths confirmed

Public Health Scotland Scotland Ayrshire

A further 7,162 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland with the disease claiming another 16 lives.

Data published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland show there are currently 1,511 patients with Covid in Scottish hospitals, which is down three from yesterday.

There are currently 43 people being treated with the disease in ICUs.
