Positive covid tests have fallen again all over the Liverpool City Region.
It is the tenth day in a row that infections have fallen in each of the areas that make up the combined local authority area.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, the Liverpool City Region had 14,959 covid infections in the seven days ending January 15 - that's 19,823 fewer infections than the previous week.

So, it means the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 57% in the LCR.
The week-on-week percentage change figure drops in each of the LCR areas were: 60% in Knowsley; 57% in Liverpool; 53% in Halton; 58% in St Helens; 59% in Sefton; and 55% in Wirral.
Cheshire West and Chester, West Lancashire and Warrington all had falls in positive tests in the week ending January 15.
In England, recorded a drop in Covid infections week in week ending January 15.

Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 4,452 cases in the week ending January 15, which is exactly 6,000 fewer cases than the previous week.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 57%.
The latest infection rate was 889.6 cases per 100,000 people.
Wirral
Wirral's positive tests came to 3,347 cases in the week ending January 15, which is 4,003 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 55%.
The latest infection rate was 1,032.0 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 1,423 positive tests over the last week - that's 1,614 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change figure decreased by 53% in Halton in the week ending January 15.
The latest infection rate is 1,096.6 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There was a total of 1,782 cases in the week ending January 15, which is 2,487 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in St Helens is 984.0 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 58%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 1,479 cases in the week ending January 15, which is 2,227 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in Knowsley is 970.1 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure decreased by 60%.
Sefton
Sefton had a total of 2,476 cases in the week ending January 15, which is a 3,492 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 897.4 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases fell by 59% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 14,959 positive tests over in the week ending January 15, which is 19,823 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change fell by 57%. The latest infection rate is 878.52 cases per 100,000 people.
Warrington
There were 2,043 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending January 15, which is 2,404 fewer cases than the previous week.
The week-on-week percentage figure dropped by 54%. There was an infection rate of 975.66 per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
West Lancashire recorded 1,099 coronavirus cases in the week ending January 15, which is 1,400 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant there was a week-on-week percentage figure dropped by 56%. The infection rate was 959.86 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 3,408 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending January 15, which is 3,231 fewer cases than the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 991.21 cases per 100,000 people, and there was a week-on-week percentage decrease of 49% in cases.
England
In the week ending January 15, England recorded 545,725 coronavirus cases, which is 416,252 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
There was a week-on-week percentage drop of 43% in cases nationally, and there was an infection rate of 965.03 per 100,000 people.
