Positive Covid tests dropped by 15% in the Liverpool City Region.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, the City Region had 12,215 infections in the seven days ending January 29 - that's 2,220 fewer infections than the previous week.
This meant the Liverpool City Region's week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 15%.

Every area of the city region recorded further falls in infections. The falls in infections have been continuing for three and a half weeks.
The drops were: 17% in Knowsley; 16% in Liverpool; 18% in Halton; 22% in St Helens; 14% in Sefton; and 10% in Wirral.
The local government areas of Cheshire West and Chester, West Lancashire and Warrington recorded falls in infections.
In England in the week ending January 29, there was a 5% fall in positive tests.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 3,495 cases in the week ending January 29, which is 662 fewer cases than the previous week.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 16%.
The latest infection rate was 698.3 cases per 100,000 people.
Wirral
Wirral's positive tests came to 2,996 cases in the week ending January 29, which is 343 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 10%.
The latest infection rate was 923.7 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 1,190 positive tests over the last week - that's 263 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 18% in Halton in the week ending January 29.
The latest infection rate is 917.1 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There was a total of 1,313 cases in the week ending January 29, which is 365 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in St Helens is 725.0 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 22%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 1,144 cases in the week ending January 29, which is 238 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in Knowsley is 750.4 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 17%.
Sefton
Sefton had a total of 2,077 cases in the week ending January 29, which is a 349 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 752.8 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases fell by 14% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 12,215.0 positive tests over in the week ending January 29, which is 2,220 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change dropped by 15%. The latest infection rate is 717.37 cases per 100,000 people.
Warrington
There were 1,655 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending January 29, which is 483 fewer cases than the previous week.
The week-on-week percentage figure decreased by 23%. There was an infection rate of 790.37 per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
West Lancashire recorded 1,006 coronavirus cases in the week ending January 29, which is 120 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant there was a week-on-week percentage figure fell by 11%. The infection rate was 878.63 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 3,673 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending January 29, which is 430 fewer cases than the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 1,068.28 cases per 100,000 people, and there was a week-on-week percentage fall of 11% in cases.
England
In the week ending January 29, England recorded 604,203 coronavirus cases, which is 31,958 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
There was a week-on-week percentage drop of 5% in cases in England, and there was an infection rate of 1,068.44 per 100,000 people.
