England's Health Secretary Sajid Javid says Covid may be with us forever and we may need to have an annual jab.
Mr Javid's comments come the day after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced almost all Covid restrictions in England will be lifted in the coming days.
From today masks are no longer mandated in schools, with working from home and masks in public no longer needed from next Thursday.
People who catch Covid will no longer need to stay home in England in a rule change coming before March 24.
Mr Javid told Sky News: "COVID is not going away, it's going to be with us for many many years, perhaps forever but we need to learn to live with it."
