- NSW - Nine deaths, 13,179 cases
- Victoria - Nine deaths, 7,081 cases
- ACT - 838 new cases, no deaths
- Tasmania - 1,109 new cases, no deaths
- Queensland - 13 deaths, 4,80 new cases
- WA - 3,594 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths
- SA - two deaths, 2,560 new cases
- NT - 205 cases, no deaths
NSW
Another nine people have died with COVID in the state, with 13,179 new infections recorded.
There are 1,038 cases in hospital and 39 of those are in ICU.
Victoria
Nine more people died with COVID in the state and another 7,081 infections were recorded.
That takes active cases in the state to 38,874.
There are 196 people in hospital with the virus, 32 of those are in ICU.
ACT
The ACT has recorded 838 new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths.
There are 37 people in hospital, including two in intensive care and one on a ventilator.
The ACT is now reporting the number of children who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine following bookings opening up last week.
Five per cent of children aged five to 11 have had their second jab.
Tasmania
The state has recorded no new deaths from the virus and 1,109 new infections.
There are 14 people in hospital with COVID, seven are being treated specifically for COVID symptoms. Four people are in ICU.
There are currently 5,716 active cases.
Queensland
Another 13 people have died with COVID and 4,801 new cases were recorded in the state.
There are 262 people in hospital, 19 of those are in ICU.
Queensland has 28,524 active cases.
Western Australia
WA has recorded 3,594 new COVID-19 cases, marking a new daily record.
A total of 67 people are in hospital, though none are in intensive care.
The latest figures take the total number of people currently infected to 15,750.
South Australia
South Australia has recorded 2,560 new cases.
There are currently 20,279 active cases in the state.
Two men in their 90s and a woman in her 70s, who tested positive for COVID-19, have passed away.
There are 90 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including 15 people in ICU, and two people requiring a ventilator.
Northern Territory
The NT has recorded 205 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours. Here's where they were recorded:
- 131 in the Top End region
- 34 in Central Australia
- Six in East Arnhem
- 24 in the Big Rivers region
- Eight in the Barkly region
- Two cases under investigation.
There are currently 33 patients in hospital, with eight patients requiring oxygen. There is one patient in ICU.
The number of active cases in the NT is 2,643.
