Covid-19 cases are once again on the rise in Scotland, according to recent figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
The ONS also estimates that around 250,700 people were infected with the virus in the week ending June 17 - the equivalent of around one in 20 people.
This is a rise from the 176,900 people estimated to have the virus in the previous week.

Although cases are on the rise, the Daily Record reports that Jason Leitch said Scotland will unlikely see Covid restrictions return.
Scotland’s National Clinical Director appeared on BBC's Sunday Show on Sunday.
He said: “Something dramatic would have to happen to the virus. We’ve got fatigue from this.
"We’re all a bit fed up. People are going back about their business.
“Glastonbury is on, TRNSMT is on next week. I remember us talking about TRNSMT a year ago where we were struggling to get it back on.
"All of those things are really, really important to get back.”
Discussing the rise, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon added it would be sensible for people to wear face masks when indoors.
It comes as Channel 5 television presenters Jeremy Vine and Storm Huntley were both been hit with coronavirus - with Scottish host Storm less than a month away from giving birth. The pair announced over on social media that they are both suffering at home with the virus, alongside several members of their television crew.
A statement was released on the official Jeremy Vine On 5 account.
It read: "Are we entering the fifth wave of Covid? Both @theJeremyVine and @StormHuntley have Covid - along with several members of the @JeremyVineOn5 team.
"As many as 1.7m people in the UK have had it in the last week - so shouldn't the government be doing more to stop it? #JeremyVine"
But if you are feeling under the weather - what should you do? Here is everything you need to know about the current rules in Scotland;
Covid symptoms
The main three symptoms that experts have associated with Covid-19 for much of the pandemic were a fever, a loss of taste or smell and a new and continuous cough.
However, NHS Scotland expanded the list of symptoms as the legal requirement to stay at home was lifted by officials.
The full list includes:
- High temperature, fever or chills
- Loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell
- Shortness of breath
- Unexplained tiredness, lack of energy
- Muscle aches or pains that are not due to exercise
- Not wanting to eat or not feeling hungry
- Headache that’s unusual or longer lasting than usual
- Sore throat, stuffy or runny nose
- Diarrhoea
- Feeling sick or being sick
What should I do if I test positive for covid?
If you test positive for coronavirus, individuals should avoid contact with others for five days after the day you took your test or from the day your symptoms started. The NHS says you should count the day after you took your test as day one.
Children or young people under 18 who test positive should stay at home and avoid contact with others for three days after they took the test or from when their symptoms started (whichever came earliest).
