Courtney Love has revealed that she “almost died” during a trip to the UK as she opened up about a mysterious illness.
In an Instagram post on Friday (14 August), the Hole singer gave fans an update on her upcoming solo album, which she said has taken so long to be released due to health issues.
She explained that during a trip to England in 2019, her “body just exploded”.
“I almost died, I lost all my hair. I was about 100 pounds. And they told me I was going to die, and I didn’t believe them.”
Whilst Love did not share details of the illness, she said that she is now “healthy” and “things are great now”.
She also asked her fans to be patient about her releasing new music. “I’m just figuring how to roll things out.”
