Courteney Cox has responded to an Instagram post by Kanye West in which he seemed to claim he wasn't a fan of her hit TV sitcom Friends.
The rapper, 45, has been active on social media over the weekend and an old tweet resurfaced in which the Gold Digger singer claimed the classic show "wasn't funny".
The text was shared by Kanye before he later added he wasn't actually the person behind the tweet that read: "Friends wasn't funny either." However, he followed it up by saying: "but I wish I had."
His words caught the attention of the actress, 58, who created a skit on Instagram. Courteney, who played Monica in Friends, was seen jiving away while scrolling through her phone in the clip before coming across the artist now legally known as Ye's comment.
She quickly snapped out of her jovial mood as the words "Friends wasn't funny" flash across the screen. Courteney then marches over to her music player and turns it off in a huff, removing Ye's tunes.
She captioned her funny upload: "I bet the old Kayne [sic] thought Friends was funny," followed by a sad face.
Her fans were quick to praise the sketch in the comments section with one user writing: "You're fantastic," along with laughing face and clapping emojis.
Another penned: "I love Friends as much as Kanye loves Kanye." And a third added: "People who say Friends aren't funny aren't trustworthy!!"
The post comes as Kanye continued his tirade against the fashion industry who he claims are ripping off his designs and ideas.
At the weekend the Donda artist hit out at Gap and Adidas for their actions. He criticised Gap after they "held a meeting about me" without him being present.
Taking to Instagram, he shared a snap with his 17 million followers of clothing on the floor and a pair of sunglasses. And his barrage showed no signs of letting up as he went on to accuse the brand of copying his Yeezy Gap engineered by Balenciaga designs and printing them on their own regular t-shirts.
Adidas was also in the firing line later in the week, with Sean "Diddy" Combs offering his support to the rapper. Ye had claimed the company stole his Yeezy designs and taken full creative control over his Yeezy brand.
On Tuesday, Diddy publicly said: "'Since the era of Run-DMC, @Adidas has always used Hip Hop to build its brand and make billions off of our culture. BUT WE ARE MORE THAN JUST CONSUMERS NOW, WE’RE THE OWNERS. @KanyeWest and YEEZY are the reason Adidas is relevant to culture. WE KNOW OUR VALUE!"
