Neve Campbell may not be the only OG Scream actor to return in Kevin Williamson’s upcoming sequel. According to insider reports, both Courteney Cox and Patrick Dempsey are rumored to be returning in Scream 7. While Campbell's return has been officially confirmed, Cox's return as Gale Weathers is said to be a 'lock.' Patrick Dempsey, who portrayed Mark Kincaid in Scream 3, is also reportedly in talks to reprise his role.
With Campbell's confirmed involvement in Scream 7, the horror series seems to be on the right track after facing some setbacks. The removal of Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega from the franchise had left fans concerned, but Campbell's return has brought a sense of excitement and anticipation.
