Couples can now get married in SPACE and there's a big waiting list for loved-couples

Move over beach weddings, there's a new ultimate wedding destination that's out of this world (literally).

Space Perspective, a space travel company, has announced that it will be offering the first-ever space weddings for loved-up couples, and the demand is apparently hitting the roof.

Space Perspective's revolutionary Neptune spacecraft offers couples a rare chance to embark on a truly unique journey to the edge of space, providing them with an unforgettable experience complete with unparalleled views of our planet.

The waitlist for this otherworldly expedition is already full of couples who are eager to exchange their sacred vows under the stars.

Space Perspective's co-founder, Jane Poynter, revealed that the company has already received inquiries from couples eager to say "I do" in space, adding that "we've already had people wanting to be the first marriage in space, so we'll see who is the first."

The Neptune spacecraft is designed to lift off the ground at a gentle pace of 12 mph making the experience accessible to anyone who is medically fit to fly with a commercial airline.

It means prospective couples don't have to be worried about being blasted off into space like an astronaut.

The spacecraft is propelled by renewable hydrogen, with no rockets or associated carbon footprint, ensuring an eco-friendly journey to the heavens.

It is also fitted with massive porthole windows which are sure to be pretty special backdrop for wedding photos.

Vincent Bachet, Space Perspective's Lead and Development Engineer, said that the Neptune's windows are "the biggest windows flown into space" and feature a hyper-resistant material and a special anti-UV coating.

According to Space Perspective's co-founder and co-CEO, Taber MacCallum, the windows will be "the quintessential part of the experience" and will make for the perfect setting to tie the knot.

Space Perspective is founded by two former crew members of Biosphere 2, an Earth system science research facility located in Arizona, who are experts in exploring the potential of closed ecological systems in supporting human life during outer space missions.

Couples who are ready to take their love to the next level and experience the ultimate wedding destination can join the waitlist on Space Perspective's website and prepare for the journey of a lifetime.
