A couple with a 16-year age gap say they are constantly mistaken for father and daughter - but they've defied the haters as they've been together for 13 years now. Ashley Miller, 34, met her now-husband, Jim, 51, at the bar he owned after her best friend convinced her to come and 'eye up the hot bartender' she fancied.
The pair were instantly attracted to each other, despite Ashley only being 21 at the time, and they started dating when Jim plucked up the courage to ask her out on a date in October 2009 – a year after they met. After falling for each other, the couple found out they were expecting their first child together in June 2012 and welcomed their daughter, Sunny, nine, in February 2013.
The lovebirds married in November 2013 in Las Vegas, US, and had their son, Lukas, four, in November 2017. But despit their enormous history together, Jim is often mistaken for the children's grandad and Ashley's dad, and the family have to laugh it off.
