It wasn't until 2020 that the couple found out they had won and they had hoped to get hitched in 2020 or 2021 but this was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But on Saturday, Craig, and Kirstin, from Killingworth, finally made it down the aisle and celebrated with all their family and friends.
Kirstin, 32, said: "I'm the most chilled bride ever! Everything was done so it was just the waiting.
"I think Craig was slightly more stressed and was nervous about catching Covid just before the wedding.
"With Covid, it is really stressful and we were just waiting for the next announcement to say when things would be back to normal. I was freaking out!
"I'm so glad it's here now and we can just spend time with our family and friends.
"It gives us the chance to see everyone here who we haven't seen in a long time. My grandad who lives in Plymouth came to the wedding and I hadn't seen him for two and a half years so it was lovely.
"We couldn't be happier."
