A couple were given the devastating news that they both had cancer after the husband's diagnosis prompted his wife to go for a scan.
After Paul Boothby, 69, was told he has stage three bowel cancer in August 2021, his partner Diane Boothby, 63, decided to pay for a private scan to get to the root of her symptoms.
She began seeing consultants as her husband prepared to undergo an operation on his tumour in September.
