Couple transform £162,000 house into £500,000 forever home

Needs and priorities change over time, and one life change that is often the biggest is starting a family.

Many parents have to make important decisions all the time, with Ailsa and Paul Delaney being no different. The couple bought their three-bed semi-detached home after their first child was born but when they later had twins they realised they could benefit from additional space.

After initially putting the house on the market, the couple decided they would rather stay put instead of moving and embarked on a huge Grand Design style extension and renovation project that transformed their outgrown house into their forever home.
