An affluent family is looking for a dog nanny earning up to £462-a-week to wait on a pampered pooch hand and paw.
The canine-loving candidate should be ready to lavish hours of attention on the 18-month-old French bulldog.
They will care for the pet 21 hours a week for £22-an-hour and could be required to ‘dog sit’ overnight at the owners’ flat in Greenwich, London.
The ad for the post reveals: “A friendly couple who work between home and the office in the city, are looking for a kind and caring person, primarily to look after their 1.5-year-old French Bulldog and to do some housekeeping.
“Experience with dogs is a must. You would be required to take her out for walks and keep her company during the day.
“You should also be happy to do some cleaning for their two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment.
“The main duties for this role are to take the dog for walks each day that you work and keep her company.
“Beautiful Greenwich park is a ten-minute walk away!”
The ad, on the Polo and Tweed site, adds: “She is a happy sociable dog who loves playtime.
“You should ensure that she is fed and her water bowl is always filled up.”
The dog nanny will also be required to tackle a spot of cleaning. The ad continues: “You should be happy to do some daily housekeeping, such as cleaning and keeping the apartment clean and tidy.
“Working 2-3 days a week (ideally Tuesday - Thursday), exact days to be agreed with the successful candidate. Working 9am – 4pm.
“Working up to 21 hours a week. Possible additional days and overnight dog sitting occasionally. You should have previous experience with dogs.”
The dog owners were looking to appoint the ‘right person’ as soon as possible.
