A couple told how they "sacrificed" their 20s to achieve their dream of designing their own home from scratch.
Katie and Michael took on their very own Grand Designs style project to design their forever home - a five-bed detached house in Lancashire, spread out over three floors. Katie, 31, who grew up in Preston, bought her first house with her husband Michael seven years ago, and they have worked their way up the property ladder ever since.
