A couple almost had to cancel their wedding day amid a series of disasters that made them think 'everything was against them'. Adelia Killian, 25, and her partner, Connor, 29, were looking forward to tieing the knot in September 2021 - but just hours before their big day, the groom split his lip open - losing a tooth and needing 28 stitches.
Deciding to wed in Nantucket, Massachusetts, a hurricane also nearly stopped the maid of honour and flowers from arriving in time. The engaged couple had arranged their wedding in just two weeks after their relatives encouraged them to make things official on an upcoming family holiday.
