A couple's decision to construct a 4ft-high fence to block out queues outside the chip shop next door has lost them a whopping £105,000 from the home's final sale price.
Stephen and Christine Williams became tired of the long-winding queues of customers outside the chip shop next door every evening.
They put up a fence outside of their Alnwick, Northumberland, home that extended onto the pavement to get some privacy and prevent people from using their window sill as a bench, The Mirror reports.
