Couple hit with legal threats after council mistakes pet bunny for dangerous dog

A couple were threatened with legal action after council chiefs mistook their rabbit for an aggressive dog.

Martin, 57, and Yvonne Vickers, 50, were stunned when they received a letter from East Lindsey District Council complaining about their unruly pet.

Officials even said horse riders' lives were being put at risk due to "excessive barking" coming from their rural home.
