A Scottish couple were told they would need to fly back to Spain if they wanted to get home, in a travel nightmare lasting 27 hours.
Carly Wilkinson, who works in Edinburgh, and her partner Reece Pollock were in Majorca for a week, and were set to fly back from Palma airport before they got a text saying their flight was cancelled. EasyJet told them they could pay £600 to travel with another airline or wait 11 hours for an alternative flight, reports the Sunday Mail.
Carly, 22, agreed to travel to Bristol with partner Reece, 23, but was told on arrival that their flight back to Scotland was also cancelled.
