Love was in the air at Hampden Park - and not just because Ed Sheeran was performing his ballads.
The singer's show was the backdrop to a romantic proposal between one loved-up couple.
Alea Carr travelled to Glasgow from Kirkcaldy with her partner of six months JJ McDonell to see the hitmaker, who she has been a 'massive' fan of since the age of 11.
The 22-year-old had been looking forward to the event since September when her mum surprised her with tickets for her birthday but the show became even more memorable halfway through, reports the Daily Record.

During Sheeran's performance of 'Give Me Love' - one of the couple's favourite songs - Alea turned round to see 33-year-old carpet fitter JJ down on one knee, where he popped the all-important question.
As the bride-to-be broke down in tears, evidently overcome with emotion, fellow music-lovers cheered and clapped around them.
Incredibly, Ed Sheeran spotted the loved-up pair in the crowd, and promptly wished them congratulations, a moment which Alea described as 'surreal'.
Alea, pupil support assistant, told the Record: "My cheeks are killing me, I haven't stopped smiling.
"Ed was singing 'Give Me Love' and all of a sudden I felt a tap on my back.
"I turned round and JJ was down on one knee. He asked, 'will you marry me?'.
"It was so noisy that he could barely get the words out.
"I fell to the floor and broke down in tears. I was crying my eyes out but said 'yes' as quick as I could.
"I've loved Ed Sheeran since I was 11 years old so it was really special for him to do it at that concert.
"I couldn't have picked a better moment."
Since the touching proposal, the future newlyweds have been inundated with photos and videos from fans who captured the special moment on camera.
Alea says she is in 'the best mood ever', and can't wait to compile the footage into a montage depicting the day she said 'yes'.
She continued: "When Ed said congratulations, it felt like the icing on the cake.
"Being a massive fan, that meant the entire world to me. The fact he seen us, it was just surreal.
"I wasn't expecting any of it. JJ's kids were in the crowd as well, they were sitting in the stalls so it was great that they were able to be a part of such a sweet moment.
"Everyone in the crowd around us kept grabbing my hand and looking at my ring.
"It's been absolutely phenomenal."

Although wedding planning is still to get underway, Alea says Ed's music will definitely play a big part in their special day - with at least one of the artist's songs a strong contender for their first dance.
Alea added: "We've been asked loads of questions about wedding dates but we're just enjoying the moment and trying to take the stress away from it all.
"We're going to lap up every last second of the engagement before the planning starts.
"Ed has played such a huge part in my life so his music will definitely feature in the wedding in some way."
