A couple have told how they went to one of Garth Brooks sell-out Dublin concerts - and came home with a newborn baby daughter.
Gearoid Magfheargail, 36, and his partner Rebecca Dyas, 30, are now convinced the country superstar brought on Rebecca’s labour.
They had tickets for the Friends in Low Places superstar’s gig at Croke Park for Friday 16.

However, Rebecca felt this date was too close to her actual due date of yesterday, September 19.
The huge Garth Brooks’ fans managed a last minute swap for the Oklahoma singer’s gig on Sunday, September 11.
Rebecca, from Drogheda in Co Louth and Gearoid, from Strabane, in Tyrone, travelled from their home in Cavan that Sunday for the concert - and only arrived back home the following Thursday with their newborn baby Bonnie.
The couple already had Bonnie’s name picked out - but are now thinking of calling her Bonnie Brooks to mark her birth coinciding with their attendance at their idol’s concert.
“I did feel a few pains during the concert but I was so into the music and being there that I didn’t think much of it as I wasn’t due for over another week,” Rebecca said in an exclusive interview with this paper.
She said while they were walking back to their car which was parked half an hour away, it actually took them an hour because she was “struggling.”
“I ended up taking off my shoes and resting for a bit but once we got to the car we drove to my mam’s in Drogheda for something to eat before heading back to Cavan.
“But as soon as I got into mam’s my waters broke on her new floor,”
Rebecca, who has two other girls Amelia, 6, and Holly, 5.
“We rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and I was in labour until Bonnie was born the following day,” a delighted Rebecca said.
Rebecca said that when Gearoid bought the tickets for the If Tomorrow Never Comes singer’s gig as a Christmas present she joked at the time to him “I guarantee you I’ll end up pregnant for it.”
And in a strange twist of fate, they found out last January that Rebecca was indeed pregnant with her due date on September 19 - three days after the concert they were due to attend.
“It was hilarious really,” said Rebecca. “When we found out our due date Gearoid even said he is going to the gig - even if I am in labour as he is a huge fan. He even called our Chai Chai dog Brooke”
“He is such a fan that he and his family queued for 29 hours in 2014 to get tickets for the gigs that never happened. So he was adamant he was going this time. We did make the gig this time as two but came home as three,” said Rebecca.
“Bonnie is going to be a big Garth fan, we are going to ensure that. The concert was amazing and we definitely won’t forget it that’s for sure!” Rebecca said.
