Couple back in UK after being stranded in Dubai tell of ‘absolute chaos’

A British couple who were stranded in the Middle East amid the Iran conflict and had to make their own way to Oman to catch a flight home have described “absolute chaos” at the airport.

Sarah Short, 54, and her husband Ed, 58, were on holiday in Dubai when the war broke out on Saturday.
